Logo and brand identity of the Megas Company
Megas Company produces and sells bags and hose fabric made by polypropylene and calcium carbonate. The difference between the activity and the name of company was allowed to develop completely different in meaning and a spirit concept for the logo.
Follow to the meaning of a name - the nickname of Alexander of Macedon, to tune up the historical notes in the logo?
Does it reflect the main activity of the company - production of woven polypropylene bags - and weave the logo by threads? Or just does something abstract and memorable that supports the brand awareness, but not is unacceptable if the company decides to open a new business dimension?
Actually, all these ideas were incorporate in concepts of the logo at the initial level of the work.
Finally was chosen the concept, that directly connecting the logo symbolism with the company activity. The main place of an image takes the wickerwork.By customer’s request we have add to the selected version the national motive - Ukrainian ornament – underlining the status of nationality and native producer. Ornamentation stripe is situated over the wickerwork, vertically, by analogy with the fact that often in polypropylene bags is one or two colored stripes on the edge.
According with the concept has been developed a gentleman set of the corporate identity (form-envelope-business card) and the site of Megas Company.
